SUPERGESIC( Diclofenac Pot. 50mg, Paracetamol 325mg and Chlorzoxazone 325mg)
Supergesic is taken two to three times a day with food. It is not for people that have an active ulcer. You may take medication like omeprazole once daily to prevent ulcer if you are taking Supergesic for more than 6 months non-stop.
Diclofenac is an anti-inflammatory drug that works by blocking the chemical substances released to induce pain in the body.
This blocking action produces immediate relief of pain while controlling your temperature especially with pain and fever caused by Malaria.
Paracetamol is a pain and fever reliever. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins which are pain mediators in the body.
Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the spinal cord and subcortical levels to inhibit multisynaptic reflexes thus inhibiting muscle spasm and pain transmission.
